Asystasia chelonoides

Asystasia chelonoides belongs to the genus Asystasia within the Acanthaceae family. This species is distributed across Christmas Island, India, and Sri Lanka. The scientific name was first published in 1832 by the botanist Nees. The species is part of a diverse group of flowering plants commonly found in tropical and subtropical regions.
