Description

Aspidosperma ramiflorum belongs to the Apocynaceae family and is found in Brazil and Bolivia. The species was described by Müller-Argoviensis in 1860, with the type specimen designated as a second-step lectotype based on the specimen with a flower (MO barcode MO-016026). This decision followed a review of the protologue and typification by Woodson in 1951, which required clarification due to the presence of multiple specimens in the original collection.
