Aspidosperma parvifolium is a species in the Apocynaceae family, native to regions including Brazil, Bolivia, Colombia, and Venezuela. It was first described in 1844 by A.DC. and is part of the Aspidosperma genus. The holotype is preserved in the G herbarium under the barcode G 00143911. The species is found in diverse Brazilian biomes such as the Atlantic Forest, Cerrado, Caatinga, and Pantanal, and is documented in Flora Brasiliensis. It has utility in beekeeping.

Description

Aspidosperma parvifolium is a timber tree species distributed across several South American countries, including Brazil, Bolivia, Colombia, and Venezuela. It was described by A.DC. in 1844, with the holotype designated as G 00143911. The species is associated with the Atlantic Forest, Cerrado, Caatinga, and Pantanal ecosystems in Brazil. It is recorded in Flora Brasiliensis and is noted for its use in beekeeping. Taxonomic clarification has excluded an isotype from the species due to morphological differences. The species is part of the genus Aspidosperma, within the Apocynaceae family.
