Aspidosperma album (Vahl) Benoist ex Pichon is a species in the Apocynaceae family, native to regions in Brazil, French Guiana, Guyana, Peru, Suriname, and Venezuela. It was published in 1948 and is distinguished from related species by specific morphological traits.

Description

Aspidosperma album is found in Brazil North, Brazil West-Central, French Guiana, Guyana, Peru, Suriname, and Venezuela. It was described in 1948 and is differentiated from A. centrale by dark green adaxial leaves with prominent secondary veins, smaller and non-rigid inflorescences, and flowers with a corolla tube that is pubescent to glabrescent below the anther insertion. It differs from A. desmanthum by prominent secondary veins on the adaxial surface, white abaxial leaves, and shorter flowers. It is also distinct from A. pachypterum by white abaxial leaves, suborbicular follicles, and membranaceous seeds.
