Polypogon fugax Nees ex Steud., commonly known as Asia minor bluegrass, is a species in the grass family (Poaceae). It is native to a wide range of regions, including parts of Europe, North America, Asia, and various islands.

Description

Polypogon fugax is a grass species belonging to the genus Polypogon in the Poaceae family. It is distributed across multiple regions such as Madeira, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Great Britain, the Czech Republic, Hawaii, the conterminous 48 United States, Afghanistan, Assam, the Canary Islands, the Chatham Islands, China (North-Central, South-Central, and Southeast), and the East Himalaya. The species was first described in 1854. It is also referred to as Asia minor bluegrass in English and shares the same common name in the target language.
