Arundo formosana is a species in the genus Arundo, family Poaceae. It was first described by Hack. in 1899. The species is native to Taiwan, Japan, the Nansei-shoto, and the Philippines.

Description

Arundo formosana belongs to the grass family (Poaceae) and is part of the Arundo genus. It is distributed across several regions in East and Southeast Asia, including Taiwan, Japan, the Nansei-shoto archipelago, and the Philippines. The species was formally described in 1899 by the botanist Hack.
