Sagittaria cuneata is a North American species in the Alismataceae family, commonly known as Arum-Leaf Arrowhead. It is native to regions including Labrador, Newfoundland, Alberta, British Columbia, and parts of the United States such as Alaska, Arizona, and California. This species was first described in 1893 by E. Sheld.

Description

Sagittaria cuneata is a flowering plant in the water plantain family, Alismataceae. It is found across a wide range in North America, including the Nearctic region and parts of the United States. It is sometimes referred to as wapato, a name shared with some other species in the Sagittaria genus. The plant is adapted to wetland habitats and is part of the broader Sagittaria genus, which includes several aquatic or semi-aquatic species.
