Description
Peniocereus greggii (Engelm.) Britton & Rose is a member of the Cactaceae family and is native to the southwestern United States and northern Mexico. It is commonly called Arizona queen-of-the-night due to its characteristic of blooming at night. The species is distributed across Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, as well as the northeast and northwest regions of Mexico. It was first published in 1909 and is part of the Peniocereus genus, which includes several climbing or columnar cacti.
