Pyrola grandiflora, commonly known as arctic pyrola, is a hardy perennial evergreen subshrub in the family Ericaceae. It is found in the Northern Hemisphere, spanning temperate to tundra-like climates.

Description

Pyrola grandiflora is a member of the Ericaceae family and is native to regions such as Greenland, Labrador, Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Ontario, Quebec, Saskatchewan, Yukon, Iceland, North European Russia, Alaska, and other parts of the Northern Hemisphere. This plant is adapted to a wide range of northern climates, from temperate to tundra-like environments. It is a perennial evergreen subshrub, known for its resilience in cold and harsh conditions. The species was first published in 1821 by Radius.
