Eritrichium nanum, known as the arctic alpine forget-me-not or king-of-the-Alps, is a circumpolar alpine cushion plant found in the European Alps and the North American Rocky Mountains. It was first described in 1828 by Schrad. ex Gaudin and belongs to the Boraginaceae family.

Description

Eritrichium nanum is a member of the Boraginaceae family and is distributed across several European countries including Austria, France, Italy, Romania, Switzerland, and Yugoslavia. This plant is adapted to alpine environments and forms low-growing cushions. It is commonly referred to as the arctic alpine forget-me-not or king-of-the-Alps in English.
