Archidium elatum is a moss species in the family Archidiaceae, native to New Zealand and Australia. It is found on the North Island and Chatham Island in New Zealand, and in Queensland and New South Wales in Australia. The species was first described in 1945 by Dixon and Sainsbury.

Archidium elatum belongs to the genus Archidium and is part of the family Archidiaceae. It is distributed across parts of New Zealand and eastern Australia. Commonly known as Archidium moss, this species is part of the global distribution of mosses. The species was formally published in 1945.
