Araujia megapotamica is a species in the Apocynaceae family, native to the southern regions of Brazil, northeastern Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay. It was first described in 1837 by G.Don.

Description

Araujia megapotamica is a member of the Apocynaceae family, commonly known as the dogbane family. It is distributed across the southern part of Brazil, the northeastern part of Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay. This species was originally published in 1837 by George Don, based on earlier work by Sprengel. It is part of the Araujia genus, which includes several climbing or trailing species. The plant is adapted to the ecological conditions of its native range, which includes subtropical and temperate climates.
