Aralia rex (Ekman) J.Wen is a species in the Araliaceae family, native to Cuba. Previously classified under the genus Megalopanax as Megalopanax rex, it is the only species in that genus. The species was formally described in 1993.

Description

Aralia rex is a flowering plant species found exclusively in Cuba. It belongs to the Araliaceae family and was reclassified from the genus Megalopanax to Aralia. The species was first published in 1993. It is considered endemic to the Cuban archipelago.
