Aralia echinocaulis is a species in the Araliaceae family, native to South-Central and Southeast China. It was first described in 1933 by Hand.-Mazz.

Description

Aralia echinocaulis is a member of the Araliaceae family, commonly known as the ginseng family. It is distributed in the South-Central and Southeast regions of China. The species was formally described in 1933 by the botanist Hand.-Mazz. As part of the genus Aralia, it shares characteristics typical of this group, such as compound leaves and umbel-like inflorescences.
