Spiranthes arcisepala, the Appalachian ladies' tresses, is a flowering plant in the Orchidaceae family. Native to eastern North America, it was previously grouped with Spiranthes cernua but was recognized as a distinct species in 2017.

Description

Spiranthes arcisepala is a species of orchid found in regions including New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Quebec, and several U.S. states. It was historically classified as part of the Spiranthes cernua species complex but was later identified and established as a separate species in 2017 through taxonomic reevaluation.
