Apodasmia chilensis is a flowering plant in the Restionaceae family, found only in southern Chile. It is the only Restionaceae species native to the Americas, alongside Gaimardia australis.

Apodasmia chilensis (Gay) B.G.Briggs & L.A.S.Johnson is a member of the Restionaceae family and is native to southern Chile. It is the sole species of the Restionaceae family that is indigenous to the Americas, with Gaimardia australis being the other native species. The plant was formally described in 1998. It belongs to the genus Apodasmia and is restricted to the Chile South region.
