Apetalous sandwort

Moehringia trinervia is a flowering plant in the Caryophyllaceae family, commonly called apetalous sandwort. It is native to regions including Portugal, Flanders, the Baltic States, and parts of China, and has been introduced to the conterminous 48 United States and other areas. First described in 1811, it is found across various parts of Europe, North Africa, and Asia. The species is characterized by its apetalous flowers and is part of the genus Moehringia.
