Annual Seepweed

Suaeda linearis is found in a range that includes Alabama, the Bahamas, Connecticut, Cuba, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Haiti, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Mexico Gulf, Mexico Northeast, Mexico Southeast, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, and North Carolina. It was first described in 1840. As a member of the Chenopodiaceae family, it is commonly referred to as Annual Seepweed in English. This species is adapted to saline or moist environments and is often found in coastal areas and wetlands.
