Sagina apetala, known as Annual pearlwort, is a species in the Caryophyllaceae family. It is native to Europe and has been introduced to regions like North America. It is commonly found in disturbed habitats, such as sidewalk cracks. The plant is a small annual herb with a threadlike stem, usually less than a few centimeters in height. It is glandular and hairy, with linear leaves up to about a centimeter long. The inflorescence consists of a single flower on a slender pedicel, typically with four sepals and no petals.

Description
