Anisophyllea manausensis is a species in the Anisophylleaceae family, native to Brazil, Colombia, and Peru. It was first described by João Murça Pires and William Antônio Rodrigues in 1971, with the specific epithet referencing Manaus, where the type specimen was collected.

Description

Anisophyllea manausensis belongs to the Anisophylleaceae family and is found in the northern regions of Brazil, as well as in Colombia and Peru. The species was formally described in 1971 by the Brazilian botanists João Murça Pires and William Antônio Rodrigues. The name of the species is derived from Manaus, the location where the specimen used for its description was collected.
