Anemopaegma grandifolium is a species in the Bignoniaceae family, native to Bolivia and Venezuela. It was first described in 1947 by authors Merr. & Sandwith, based on earlier work by Jacq.

Description

Anemopaegma grandifolium belongs to the genus Anemopaegma within the Bignoniaceae family, commonly known as the bignonia or trumpet vine family. This species is naturally distributed across the countries of Bolivia and Venezuela. The scientific name was formally published in 1947 by Merr. & Sandwith, who recognized and classified the species following the original description by Jacq. As part of the Bignoniaceae, it shares characteristics typical of the family, such as woody stems and often showy, tubular flowers. Its native range suggests it is adapted to the ecological conditions of northern and central South America.
