Anacardium nanum is a species in the genus Anacardium, belonging to the family Anacardiaceae. It was first described by A.St.-Hil. in 1831. This species is native to Brazil, specifically found in the Southeast and West-Central regions.

Description

Anacardium nanum is a member of the Anacardiaceae family, a group of flowering plants commonly known as the cashew or sumac family. The species was formally described in 1831 by the botanist A.St.-Hil. Its natural distribution is limited to specific regions in Brazil, including the Southeast and West-Central areas. As part of the Anacardium genus, it is related to other species such as the cashew tree (Anacardium occidentale).
