Parnassia glauca, known as American Grass-Of-Parnassus, is a species in the genus Parnassia, family Celastraceae. It is native to regions across North America, including Newfoundland, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Ontario, Quebec, Saskatchewan, Vermont-US, Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, and North Dakota. The species was first described in 1840 by Raf.

Parnassia glauca is a member of the Celastraceae family and is commonly referred to as American Grass-Of-Parnassus. It is distributed across various regions in North America, including Newfoundland, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Ontario, Quebec, Saskatchewan, and parts of the United States such as Vermont, Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, and North Dakota. The species was first documented in 1840 by Raf.
