Chrysosplenium americanum is a plant species in the Saxifragaceae family. It is commonly known as American golden saxifrage and is native to eastern North America. The species is distributed across several regions, including Manitoba, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, Saskatchewan, and Vermont in the United States. It also occurs in various U.S. states such as Alabama, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, and Massachusetts.
