Parnassia kotzebuei, known as alpine grass-of-Parnassus, is a species in the genus Parnassia of the family Celastraceae. It was first described in 1824 by Cham. ex Spreng. This plant is native to a wide range of regions, including Greenland, Labrador, Newfoundland, Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Ontario, Quebec, Saskatchewan, Yukon, Alaska, Aleutian Is., Colorado, Idaho, Kamchatka, and Magadan.

Description

Parnassia kotzebuei is a member of the Celastraceae family and is commonly referred to as alpine grass-of-Parnassus. The species was published in 1824 under the authorship of Cham. ex Spreng.
