Allocasuarina rigida is a flowering plant in the Casuarinaceae family, native to eastern Australia. It is a dioecious shrub with branchlets up to 330 mm long, scale-like leaves arranged in whorls of seven to ten, and fruiting cones 8–27 mm long that contain winged seeds measuring 3.0–7.5 mm in length.

Description

This species is found in New South Wales and Queensland. It was published in 1982 and is part of the genus Allocasuarina. The plant is characterized by its reduced, scale-like leaves and the presence of separate male and female individuals. The fruiting cones, which contain the seeds, are a distinguishing feature of the species.
