Allocasuarina ramosissima (C.A.Gardner) L.A.S.Johnson

Allocasuarina ramosissima is a flowering plant in the Casuarinaceae family, native to the south-west of Western Australia. It is a dioecious shrub with scale-like leaves arranged in whorls of five. The plant produces sessile fruiting cones that are 9–13 mm long and contain winged seeds measuring 4.5–5.0 mm in length.
Description
This species was described in 1982 and is part of the Allocasuarina genus. Its leaves are reduced to overlapping scales, and it exhibits distinct reproductive structures. The cones are sessile and contain seeds with wings, aiding in their dispersal. Allocasuarina ramosissima is found exclusively in Western Australia.
