Allocasuarina monilifera, known as necklace sheoak, is a flowering plant in the Casuarinaceae family and is native to Tasmania. It is a monoecious shrub with branchlets up to 150 mm long, reduced scale-like leaves in whorls of six to nine, and fruiting cones 15–30 mm long containing winged seeds 5–6 mm long.

Description

This species is a low-growing shrub characterized by its scale-like leaves and fruiting cones. It is endemic to Tasmania and was formally described in 1982. The plant is part of the Casuarinaceae family and is recognized for its distinct seed structure and growth habit.
