Allocasuarina eriochlamys subsp. grossa is a subspecies of the Casuarinaceae family, first described in 1989 by L.A.S. Johnson.

Description

This subspecies belongs to the genus Allocasuarina within the Casuarinaceae family, a group of conifer-like flowering plants native to Australia. It was originally described as a subspecies of Allocasuarina eriochlamys by L.A.S. Johnson in 1989. The species and its subspecies are characterized by needle-like leaves and cone-like fruiting structures, typical of the Casuarinaceae family. Allocasuarina eriochlamys subsp. grossa is distinguished by specific morphological traits that set it apart from other subspecies within the A. eriochlamys complex.
