Alisma canaliculatum, known as channelled water plantain, is a species in the Alismataceae family. It is native to Japan, Korea, the Ryukyu Islands, Taiwan, the Kuril Islands, and China.

Description

Alisma canaliculatum is a member of the Alismataceae family and is found in the Oriental (Indomalaya) and Palaearctic regions. Its distribution includes China North-Central, China South-Central, China Southeast, Japan, Korea, the Kuril Islands, the Nansei-shoto, and Taiwan. First described in 1867 by A.Braun & C.D.Bouché, it is commonly referred to as channelled water plantain.
