Alansmia laxa (C.Presl) Moguel & M.Kessler is a species in the genus Alansmia, belonging to the fern family Polypodiaceae. It was published in 2011 and is known from the regions of Boyacá, Cauca, and Norte de Santander.

Description

Alansmia laxa is a member of the Polypodiaceae family, a group of ferns commonly referred to as the polypody family. This species is native to the regions of Boyacá, Cauca, and Norte de Santander. It was formally described in 2011 by Moguel and M.Kessler, based on the original work by C.Presl. The species is part of the genus Alansmia, which includes several other fern species primarily found in the Neotropics.
