Aiouea angulata

Aiouea angulata belongs to the genus Aiouea within the Lauraceae family. This species is documented in the regions of Bucaramanga and Charalá in the Boyacá department of Colombia. The species was formally described in 1938 by the botanist Kostermans. It is part of the Lauraceae, a family of flowering plants commonly known as the laurel family, which includes trees and shrubs found primarily in tropical and warm temperate regions.
