Sesamum trilobum (Bernh.) Byng & Christenh., known as African foxglove, is a species in the genus Sesamum of the family Pedaliaceae. It is native to regions in southern Africa and parts of the United States, including Botswana, Cape Provinces, Florida, Free State, KwaZulu-Natal, Mozambique, Northern Provinces, Swaziland, and Zimbabwe. The species was formally published in 2018.

Description

Sesamum trilobum is a member of the Pedaliaceae family and is found across various regions in southern Africa and the southeastern United States. Its distribution includes Botswana, Cape Provinces, Florida, Free State, KwaZulu-Natal, Mozambique, Northern Provinces, Swaziland, and Zimbabwe. Commonly referred to as African foxglove, this species was scientifically described and published in 2018.
