Adonis volgensis is a perennial plant species in the family Ranunculaceae. It is native to a wide range across southeastern Europe and parts of Asia, including Altay, Bulgaria, Central European Russia, East European Russia, Hungary, Kazakhstan, the Crimea, the North Caucasus, Romania, South European Russia, the Transcaucasus, Turkey, Ukraine, and West Siberia. This species was first described in 1817.

Description

Adonis volgensis is characterized by its yellow flowers and is a member of the Ranunculaceae family, commonly known as the buttercup family. It is a perennial herb that thrives in various habitats across its native range. The species is distributed from southeastern Hungary through Romania and extends eastward to the southern part of the Western Siberian Plain and into Central Asia. It is a notable component of the flora in these regions and is recognized for its distinct floral display.
