Ophioglossum pusillum, known as northern adder's tongue, is a fern species in the family Ophioglossaceae. It was first described in 1814 by Rafinesque.

Description

Ophioglossum pusillum is a member of the Ophioglossaceae family and is native to regions including British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec, Saint Pierre and Miquelon, Vermont-US, Alaska, California, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, and Maryland. Commonly referred to as northern adder's tongue, this fern is part of the genus Ophioglossum.
