Acilepis ornata is a plant species native to India. It was first described in 1898 by William Alexander Talbot under the name Vernonia ornata. The species was later reclassified and published in 2009 under its current scientific name by H.Rob. & Skvarla.

Description

Acilepis ornata belongs to the genus Acilepis within the family Asteraceae. It is a native plant species found in India. Originally described as Vernonia ornata by Talbot in 1898, it was later transferred to the genus Acilepis and formally published under its current name in 2009 by H.Rob. & Skvarla.
