Artemisia absinthium, commonly known as Absinth Sagewort, is a species of the genus Artemisia in the family Asteraceae. Native to North Africa and temperate regions of Eurasia, it has been naturalized in Canada and the northern United States. It is used in the production of absinthe and other alcoholic beverages and is sometimes cultivated as an ornamental plant.

Description
