Oryctanthus florulentus ist eine Pflanzenart aus der Familie der Loranthaceae. Sie wurde 1896 von Urb. beschrieben und ist im Parque Nacional Natural Serranía de Chiribiquete (PNNSCh) in Kolumbien beheimatet.
Description
Oryctanthus florulentus gehört zur Gattung Oryctanthus innerhalb der Loranthaceae, einer Familie von Halb- oder vollständig holzigen Pflanzen, die oft als Schmarotzer an Bäumen vorkommen. Die Art wurde erstmals 1896 wissenschaftlich beschrieben. Sie kommt ausschließlich im Parque Nacional Natural Serranía de Chiribiquete in Kolumbien vor, einem Naturschutzgebiet mit hoher biologischer Vielfalt. Die genaue ökologische Rolle und Vorkommensdichte von Oryctanthus florulentus in diesem Gebiet ist weiterer Forschung unterzogen.
