Sie ist in mehreren west- und zentralafrikanischen Ländern verbreitet, darunter Cabinda, Cameroon, Zentralafrikanische Republik, Kongo, Äquatorialguinea, Gabun, Ghana, Guinea, Côte d'Ivoire, Liberia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Uganda, Zaïre, Base-Guinée und Guinée forestière. Die Verbreitung der Art ist aufgrund von Lebensraumverlust bedroht.
