Ledebouria ovatifolia, auch flachblättrige afrikanische Hyazinthe genannt, ist eine ausdauernde, blühende Pflanze aus der Familie der Spargelgewächse (Asparagaceae). Sie ist in Südafrika und Lesotho heimisch und durch ihre variablen gefleckten Blätter und attraktiven Blüten bei Sammlern beliebt, obwohl sie streng genommen keine Sukkulente ist.
Description
Ledebouria ovatifolia kommt in den südafrikanischen Provinzen Kap, Freistaat, KwaZulu-Natal, Nordprovinz, Swasiland sowie in Lesotho vor. Sie gehört zur Gattung Ledebouria und wurde 1970 wissenschaftlich beschrieben. Die Pflanze ist für ihre auffälligen, variablen Blätter und Blüten bekannt, weshalb sie unter Liebhabern von sukkulenten Pflanzen verbreitet ist, obwohl sie keine echte Sukkulente ist.
