Description
Vaccinium oxycoccos ist ein Vertreter der Moosbeeren und wächst in Mooren, Sumpfgebieten und feuchten Wäldern. Die Pflanze trägt kleine, runde, saure Früchte, die in der Ernährung und traditionellen Medizin verwendet werden. Sie ist in vielen Regionen wie Grönland, Kanada, Dänemark, Finnland, Norwegen und Schweden heimisch. Die Art wurde 1753 wissenschaftlich beschrieben.
