Crantzia cristata (L.) Scop. ist eine Mitglied der Familie der Gesneriaceae. Die Art kommt in Guyana sowie auf den Leeward- und Windward-Inseln vor. Sie ist nach dem Botaniker Carl Linnaeus benannt, der den ursprünglichen Namen festlegte, und wurde später von Joseph Gaertner in der heutigen wissenschaftlichen Form veröffentlicht.
