Description
يُوزع العشب ليبتودون سميثي على جزر ماديرا وبرتو سانتو وفلاندرز والجزر الشماليَّة. يُعتبر هذا النوع جزءًا من عائلة نِكِرَكِيَّة، وهي عائلة من الطحالب المُنتشرة عالميًا. يُشار إلى الكُتَّاب العلميين لهذا النوع باسم (Dicks. ex Hedw.) F.Weber & D.Mohr.
